Understanding political selection in Nepal

Project Active from to State Effectiveness, State and State Fragility initiative

This project aims to understand three barriers to political representation of women in Nepal: structural constraints and socialised attributes that limit women’s willingness to run (candidate supply), party bias against female candidates (party demand), and voter bias against women (voter demand).
