Urban accessibility and urban development

Project Active from 1 Mar 2025 to 26 Jun 2026 Sustainable Growth, Cities and Cities that Work

This project analyses urban accessibility in 1,200 cities worldwide using indices of mobility, proximity, and destination variety. Drawing on validated travel speed data, systematic assessments of points of interest, and web-scraping, it develops benchmarking tools, detailed city analyses, and explores accessibility correlates, with a focus on workplace access and informal settlements.
