Water, sanitation, and adaptation in the tropics

Project Active from to Sustainable Growth and Cities

Climate change exacerbates diseases like malaria in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly Sierra Leone. This project explores how temperature affects mortality and whether access to water and sanitation mitigates these impacts. Using climate, death, and water point data, it aims to inform climate adaptation policies and enhance water, sanitation, and hygiene infrastructure to protect vulnerable populations and support sustainable growth.
