Crossing the finish line: Intervening in a critical period for Zambian women's educational investment

Project Active from to Sustainable Growth, Inclusive Growth and State Effectiveness

Supporting women to complete tertiary education is vital for inclusive growth as it strengthens productivity, improves labour outcomes, and reduces gender gaps in leadership. This project, in partnership with the University of Zambia, uses administrative data and mobile surveys to study the impact of unconditional cash transfers on female students' risky behaviours, pregnancy rates, and educational persistence.
