Kenya

IGC’s engagement and research in Kenya combines policy engagement with world-class research focused on firm productivity, functioning cities, accessible energy, state effectiveness, and ICT to improve resource allocation.

IGC engages with key government stakeholders primarily in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives.

IGC has funded several projects on topics including the impact of interest rate caps, constraints to entrepreneurship in Africa, agricultural trade, social and economic impacts of electrification, microenterprise development, and the impact of ethnic favouritism on service delivery.

IGC Policy Economists support the engagement from London.
