Data and AI
The IGC is advancing the use of AI and data-driven tools to support more timely, targeted, and inclusive policymaking.
From building Bangladesh’s DataHub, a platform for national administrative data, to applying mobile money analytics and improving tax data use, our work shows how better data infrastructure can unlock more responsive policy.
Working towards sustainable growth, these projects strengthen state capability, improve service delivery, and inform policy choices.

Zambia Evidence Lab
The Zambia Evidence Lab is a ground-breaking, government-led project, spearheaded by the government of Zambia’s Ministry of Finance and National Planning (MoFNP) with support from the International Growth Centre. It is designed to enhance the use of data and evidence in making policy decisions.
Bangladesh DataHub
The Bangladesh DataHub is a one-stop data repository and interactive visualisation dashboard for most, if not all, of Bangladesh's national administrative data. This includes nationally or multilaterally conducted surveys and low-to-high frequency time series data related to energy, environment, macroeconomic indicator, and other publicly available data concerning Bangladesh's economy. It is implemented by BRAC Institute of Governance and Development, BRAC University, with support from the International Growth Centre.
