IGC Bihar Growth Conference 2016

Past Event Hotel Maurya, Patna, India From to Inclusive Growth

The 6th annual Bihar Growth Conference was held on 16-17 July in Patna, India. The conference brought together political leaders, senior bureaucrats, and leading academics to generate ideas for growth. The conference aimed to showcase the work of the IGC and eminent academics working at the frontiers of economic growth research and provided a forum where policymakers and researchers can collaborate to define problems of interest.

Among the high-level policymakers who participated there were Hon. Governor of Bihar Ram Nath Koivind; Hon. Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly; and Hon. Min. Ashok Choudhary, Government of Bihar.
