Workshop: IGC Ghana Stakeholder Discussion 2012

Past Event Accra, Ghana From to Inclusive Growth

The IGC-Ghana Programme organised two awareness seminars at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) with the aim of broadening the ICG network of local researchers and promoting the activities of IGC generally and more specifically in Ghana. It was an opportunity to present who the IGC-Ghana team are, what the IGC does and our vision with the aim of broadening our network of local researchers across various disciplines.

With the promise of IGC Phase two, the seminar sought to introduce the IGC and the IGC-Ghana country programme to local academics and researchers drawn particularly from the various departments, schools and Institutes at KNUST and UCC. The aim is to establish the presence of the IGC in Ghana and to broaden the network of local researchers in preparation for phase two. This is in response to the recognition that not many local academics and researchers are aware of the IGC-Ghana Country Programme.

A presentation as well as reports from the two events are available for download below.
