The Centre for West Bengal Economy, Department of Economics, Jadavpur University in collaboration with the International Growth Centre (IGC) and ISI, Kolkata organised the 6th West Bengal Growth Conference on 28-29 December, 2016. This event was the sixth in a series of workshops, the first of which was held in January 2011.
The purpose of the workshop was to bring together international and domestic researchers and academics, policymakers and civil society representatives to present and discuss research on various aspects of the West Bengal economy.
