The BREAD–IGC virtual PhD course is a free, online lecture series designed to bring the latest insights from leading economists to a global audience. Delivered in collaboration by the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD) and the International Growth Centre (IGC), this course offers a deep dive into the ideas shaping policy and practice across the developing world.
This is a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of development economics and connect with a global academic community.
The course is primarily designed for PhD students and early career researchers, but is also open to development practitioners, policymakers, and anyone with a strong interest in economics and evidence-based policy. Participants will benefit most from the course with a foundation in PhD-level coursework in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics.
