The International Growth Centre (IGC) and the Yale Economic Growth Center (EGC), in collaboration with the Cowles Foundation for Research in Economics at Yale University and the LSE Global School of Sustainability, are hosting a two-day conference on September 10–11, 2026, on the theme of “Firms, Trade, and Development.” The event will take place in-person at Yale University in New Haven, CT, USA with an option to attend virtually.
Overview
This year's program will include a new dedicated session on climate, energy, and the environment. This addition is intended to broaden the program, not to narrow the scope of eligible submissions: papers in all relevant areas remain encouraged. The submission deadline was Friday 1 June 2026 at 11:59pm EDT (GMT-4).
Please direct any queries to Rahul Shukla ([email protected]) or Anna Groesser ([email protected]). Note: funding for travel and accommodation will be provided to all presenters.
