IGC India online event: Strengthening Social Protection
Over the last several decades, the Government of India has introduced several cash transfer programmes to improve social welfare outcomes. While social protection programmes in India have helped to reduce poverty significantly, there is limited credible evidence on the impact of these programs on outcomes. In the webinar, we discuss implementation challenges and policy solutions to ensure ease of access for the vulnerable population.
