The India Sustainable Growth Hub (ISGH) aims to support the growing community of practice in India around low-carbon economic development. ISGH will do this by convening a network of researchers from inside and outside India working on the system-wide reforms needed to achieve sustainable growth and by connecting this network to key policy decision-makers. Given its growth and emissions trajectory, India is a pivotal for the challenge of achieving global sustainable growth. The lessons learned in India through ISGH have a resonance for other developing countries, which ISGH will also engage with via the International Growth Centre and other international partners.
