Supporting the development of Uganda’s 2nd national strategy for private sector development (2020/21 - 2024/25) through economic research session: Agriculture & agro-industrialization

Past Event Firms and COVID-19

The Private Sector Development Unit (PSDU) of the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development of the Republic of Uganda is currently in the process of developing a National Strategy for Private Sector Development (NSPD).

Anchored in the National Development Plan III (updated in July 2020 to reflect the impact of COVID-19), the new NSDP will be Uganda’s key strategic document to guide the development of the private sector.

To support the PSDU in their drafting of the new NSDP, the IGC Uganda held a series of afternoon workshops to present recent research in different topic areas (agriculture, trade, investment etc.).
