Cities driving growth
Emerging cities have the potential to be either the greatest drivers of growth or the largest group of missed opportunities for the developing world. When accessible through public transport, they offer good jobs for residents and even serve as crucial sites for seasonal migrants to earn additional income. The expanses of land and property in cities also act as important sources of revenue for governments. IGC work looks at how to make cities engines of inclusive growth.
