Fragility Commission evidence session 3: State capacity
The Commission’s third evidence session, which took place at LSE on 11 July 2017, focused on the topic of generating effective state capacity. Witnesses included Sir Michael Barber, Founder and Chairman of Delivery Associates; Sanjeev Gupta, Deputy Director of the Fiscal Affairs Department of the IMF; Ifueko M Omoigui Okauru, Former Executive Chairman of Nigeria’s Federal Inland Revenue Service; and Alex Thier, Executive Director of the Overseas Development Institute (ODI).
