The sixth annual DFI Fragility Forum, towards a stable future for fragile states
Statement from the International Growth Centre's State Fragility initiative (SFi) on the event of the sixth annual DFI Fragility Forum.
On 4 and 5 June 2024, the IGC’s State Fragility initiative co-hosted the sixth annual DFI Fragility Forum at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, in collaboration with partners including the African Development Bank (AfDB), British International Investment (BII), and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
The Forum brought together influential decision-makers and experts from both multilateral and bilateral development finance institutions (DFIs). Action-oriented discussions focused on bolstering the effectiveness of private sector investments in fragile contexts, strengthening collaboration among DFIs on local and global fronts, and advancing support for fragile countries in their journey toward socio-economic resilience and sustainable development.
Thank you to all speakers, participants, and partners for their invaluable contributions to the success of this year's Forum. We look forward to continuing the conversation and working together towards a more resilient and stable future for fragile states.
