Abdulla Janahi is the Junior Programme Officer for the State Fragility Initiative at the International Growth Centre (IGC), based at the London School of Economics (LSE). The initiative aims to bring together robust evidence and practical insight to produce actionable, policy-focused guidance for national, regional, and international actors in the areas of state legitimacy, state effectiveness, private sector development, and conflict and security.
Abdulla holds a BA in Global Affairs from Yale University. Prior to his role at the IGC, he served as Project Manager to UN Democracy Fund initiatives in Iraq, Yemen and Syria. His work focuses on geopolitical analysis, capacity building, migration flows, state legitimacy and state effectiveness.
