Researchers

Abu Shonchoy is an applied economist with interests in issues of global development and with a focus on evidence-based policy research.  His current interests span across financial inclusion, skills training, infrastructure, and education.  He currently has several ongoing field experiments (RCTs) in South Asia and West Africa.  His research has leveraged awareness building, peer effects and social accountability to induce behavioural change.
