Alain Byamungu is an entrepreneur, consultant, and expert in managing electric energy production, distribution, and commercialization projects. He is currently a project manager at NURU, a metrogrid company in Eastern DRC. Additionally, he co-owns two Congolese startups: IZUBA, which provides comprehensive management and execution services for commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable energy projects, and CONGO AGRICULTURE TECHNOLOGIES, which transforms local agricultural products to market high-quality finished goods in the Congolese and African markets. Mr. Byamungu has over 10 years of experience in the energy sector, having completed projects totaling more than 15 megawatts. He also has 5 years of entrepreneurial experience in the DRC within this field. He holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and is an alumnus of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Program.
