Alasdair was a Country Economist for the IGC in Liberia. Before joining the IGC, Alasdair was an ODI Fellow for the Ministry of Finance in Swaziland, where he worked on budgeting, efforts towards fiscal sustainability, and public finance reform. Alasdair holds an MSc in Economics from Edinburgh University. Research/policy interests include labour, agriculture, and the state.
