Aleksandar Stojanov is an Economist in the Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment Global Practice at the World Bank. His area of expertise lies in the multifaceted aspects of trade policy and regional integration, with a strong emphasis on the interplay between trade, poverty reduction, and macroeconomic stability. Prior to joining the World Bank, Aleksandar worked with the United Nations and the Swiss Export Promotion Agency, as well as in finance and corporate tax at PwC. Aleksandar holds a Master's degree in Development and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and one from University College London.
