Aminul Aman is engaged as the Research and Policy Officer at the IGC Country Programme for Bangladesh.The programme focuses on infrastructure development, firm capabilities, state effectiveness, sustainable urbanisation, and food security.
Aminul has completed his BBA in International Business from the University of Dhaka and is currently enrolled in the MSc in Applied Economics programme of BRAC University. He has also passed all the three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) examinations. Prior to his role at the IGC, he worked at the British High Commission Dhaka as a Political and Programme Officer, working with capacity building projects, research and analysis to promote UK-Bangladesh collaboration on regional security and stability. He has gained experience in diverse fields which includes startup consultancy, market research, investor relations, business development, foreign policy and regional security, and refugee crisis. His research interests include the intersection of public policy and finance, capital market development, and income inequality.
