Anaise Williams is a doctoral student in the Population, Family, and Reproductive Health Department at the Bloomberg School. Anaise is focused on the link between economic empowerment programming and violence against women in low-resourced settings. She has a background in programme evaluation and exploratory research on the topic areas of gender empowerment, reproductive health, mental health, and gender-based violence. She holds a Master’s in Public Health and Humanitarian Assistance degree from Columbia University and was a 2013-2014 U.S. Fulbright Research Fellow to Bangladesh.
