Antonella Bancalari is a PhD candidate at the Department of Social Policy, London School of Economics and Political Science and Research Officer at the Institute for Fiscal Studies.

From January 2021, Antonella is joining the School of Economics and Finance at the University of St. Andrews as an Assistant Professor. She has also served as Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank and the Government of Peru. Her research sits at the intersection of Development, Health and Public Economics. She investigates the principles underlying effective public goods delivery and its impact on early-life mortality and health.
