Arjan De Wagt

Arjan de Wagt is Chief of the Nutrition section, UNICEF India country office, New Delhi. He has over 25 years’ international experience in several countries and specialises in the management of severe acute malnutrition, emergency nutrition and nutrition in HIV. Previously, he was Chief of Nutrition section of UNICEF Nigeria where he led the nutrition programme, including providing community-based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM); and support to policy development and advocacy at federal and state level and strengthen partnership and overall coordination of the nutrition response in Nigeria. He completed his MSc Nutrition from Wageningen University.
