Arzaq is a Programme Coordinator at the IGC Hub. Arzaq has over 7 years of international and diverse professional experience in management, project management, business development, banking and finance, and data analysis gained across more than five professional and voluntary settings. She is passionate about international and sustainable development, particularly the transformative role of data and data technologies in this field.
She holds a postgraduate degree in Data Science and Analytics from Brunel University London, funded by the FCDO through the prestigious Chevening Scholarship, which supports individuals with leadership potential and a clear vision for driving positive change. She also holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Technology from Yemen.
Before joining the IGC, Arzaq supported youth mental health projects at a local charity in London, where she contributed to developing data monitoring and reporting systems as a system administrator. Previously, she spent over 5 years in the investment department of a leading bank in Yemen, where she co-led sustainable economic development and women's economic empowerment projects.
