Betty Adzah is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Ghana, specialising in Development Economics. Her doctoral research examines how climate change and digital innovation intersect to shape resilience in Ghana’s cocoa sector. She is currently reviewing evidence from IGC Ghana studies and national labour data to better understand the structural causes of youth unemployment and the role of technology in improving job matching. Her work aims to inform policies that expand employment opportunities for young people and support a more inclusive labour market.
