Daniel K. Twerefou is a lecturer at the Department of Economics, University of Ghana. He has consulted for the National Institutional Renewal Programme on the Social Impact Assessment of public sector reforms. He was also a member of an expert group constituted by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa on the Sustainable Development Report for Africa under the theme "Managing Land-Based Resources for Sustainable Development." He has served as the dean of the School of Applied Sciences, Accra Polytechnic and the Policy Seminar Coordinator of the Economic Policy Management Program of the Department of Economics. Dr. Twerefou is a member of the Economy of Ghana Network-Development Economics and the Economic Society of Ghana.
