Daniel Pope is a Professor of Global Public Health and Epidemiology at the Department of Public Health and Policy, University of Liverpool and currently leads the Energy, Air Pollution and Health research theme within the Department. Daniel has more than 15 years experience researching the health impacts of household air pollution (HAP) from reliance on solid fuel for household energy in lower-and-middle-income countries (LMICs) and prevention strategies through clean cooking technologies and fuels. He currently directs the UK National Institute for Health Research CLEAN-Air(Africa) Global Health Research Group.
