  • Senior Program Officer, Gender Data and Evidence

Diva is a Senior Program Officer with the Gender Equality team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she leads a portfolio of grants on gender data, measurement and evidence with a focus on East Africa and South Asia. She was previously with the Measurement, Learning and Evaluation team at the Gates Foundation, leading work on health, nutrition, youth and gender in India. Prior to joining the foundation, Diva worked for over a decade in public policy evaluation research, capacity building and use for J-PAL, Innovations for Poverty Action, World Bank, Planning Commission of India and other non-profit organizations.

Diva is a doctoral candidate at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford. She has a Masters in International and Development Economics from Yale University.
