Elisa Maffioli is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Health Management and Policy, at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Her research is in development and health economics, with a focus on global health topics such as maternal and child health, Ebola, malaria, nutrition.

She received her PhD in economics from Duke University in 2018.
