Emily Miller is a Data Scientist at the Gates Foundation. She was formerly Senior Research Assistant at the Stanford Center for International Development (SCID). She is interested in harnessing data to make poverty alleviation policies more effective. Prior to joining SCID, she worked on Latin American foreign policy at the Brookings Institution. Emily holds an M.A. in International Development from The New School and a B.A. in Latin American Studies and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis.
