Enrico Vanino
Enrico joined the Department in 2017 as a LSE Fellow in Economic Geography. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Birmingham and a MSc in International Economics from the University of Padova (Italy).
His research focuses on international economics, firms’ internationalization, innovation, trade policy and regional economics. His most recent works include research on the impact of protectionism, the relationship between innovation and internationalization, China trade penetration in Africa and the externalities of fast-growth firms in the UK.
Before joining the LSE Enrico worked as a research fellow at Enterprise Research Centre and collaborated as a consultant on numerous projects that focused on the European Commission trade policies, international economics and development.
