Eric Evans Osei Opoku is a PhD Candidate at the City University of Hong Kong.

He holds a BA in Economics and an MPhil in Economics with specializations in International Economics, Monetary Economics and Economic Policy Analysis from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. Eric’s academic interest lies in teaching, writing and analysing economic data for an informed policy implementation. His research interest lies in the areas of International Economics (International Trade and Finance), Economic Growth and Development in Africa, Regional Studies, and Environmental Economics (especially Trade effects on Climate Change).
