Faraz Hayat

Researchers

Faraz Hayat is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the IGC’s Pakistan Office. He is interested in Public Economics, Development and Energy Economics. He has conducted extensive research on Pakistan’s energy sector in areas such as power sector reforms, air quality, and renewable energy.
Faraz holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago and is affiliated with the Energy Policy Institute at UChicago (EPIC). He has also served as an advisor to the Ministry of Energy and Federal Board of Revenue.
