Farha Tasneem has completed her bachelor and master's degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka. As an IGC Resident PhD Fellow, she works to inform adaptation and industrial development policies that support climate-resilient growth in Bangladesh and other developing economies. Her research examines how climate change influences economic activity in Bangladesh, using detailed census and climate data to identify regional and sectoral vulnerabilities. She has previously worked at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) and the South Asian Network on Economic Modelling (SANEM).
