Haggai Chomba is a Project Economist at the International Growth Centre, where he supports the Government of Zambia’s decentralization agenda through the implementation of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). As part of the CDF learning partnership, he contributes to a large-scale Randomized Controlled Trial that evaluates the trade-offs at the core of decentralization.
Haggai holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, an MA in Economics, and a BA in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Zambia. Previously, he served as a manager at the National Advisory Board for Impact Investment in Zambia. His work focuses on financial sector development, fiscal decentralization, and sustainability.
