Jakob Rauschendorfer, a former Country Economist for the IGC in Uganda, is currently a doctoral candidate at Sciences Po, Paris. Before his PhD, he worked extensively with governments and international organisations on international trade and development. He began his career as an ODI Fellow in Malawi, followed by positions with the IGC in Uganda, as a consultant with the World Bank, and as an economist with the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN in Rome. He holds an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford.
