Jonathan is a Senior Communications and Events Officer at the International Growth Centre (IGC). Previously, he was with the LSE Firoz Lalji Institute for Africa (FLIA) as a research assistant and programme officer. There he also managed FLIA’s flagship event, the LSE Africa Summit.
Jonathan has an MSc in Environment and Development from the LSE and a BA in Social Sciences from Jacobs University Bremen.
His personal research interests include political ecology, decolonial approaches to development, urban (participatory) planning, displacement, and climate change adaptation and mitigation across Africa.
