Josaphat Kweka is Lead Consultant and CEO at Talanta International and Senior Research Associate at Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF). He has a PhD in economics from the University of Nottingham, a Masters and a Bachelor of Arts (Econ) from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is also a Research Fellow at ESRF where he researches on trade, regional integration issues and Private Sector Development. He is a nominated member of the Task Force on the implementation of the familiar ILO's globalisation project for Tanzania and a member of steering committee on SME development for the Ministry of Industry and Trade. His research interests lie in the area of development economics, mainly trade and regional integration, tourism economics and public sector.
