Kathie Krumm

Kathie Krumm is the Country Director of IGC Ethiopia.

Dr. Kathie Krumm was formerly with the World Bank. In her tenure at the World Bank, Dr. Krumm managed the economic and poverty reduction program for East Africa and the Horn and headed the economic unit in China among other assignments. Earlier in her career, she worked with Brookings Institution think tank, Tanzanian Ministry of Commerce and Industries, and the private multinational banking sector. Dr. Krumm has published in the areas of exchange and trade regimes, fiscal policy and social protection. She is a founding Board member of the non-profit Economists without Borders. Dr. Krumm holds a Ph.D in Economics from Stanford University and a B.A. from Columbia University.
