Maria del Mar Gómez Ortiz
Maria Del Mar Gomez is a PhD student in Economics at the University of Chicago, with over four years of experience in applied economic research and policy evaluation. Her work focuses on development economics and spatial and urban policy. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked as a Research Analyst at the World Bank, where she supported empirical research on trade and urban issues, including the use of quantitative spatial equilibrium models and the analysis of large-scale data. Maria Del Mar holds master's degrees in Economics and Public Policy from Universidad de Los Andes.
