Muazu Ibrahim graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana with bachelor’s degree in Economics (First Class Honours). He also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, UK. Muazu is presently a PhD Candidate at Wits Business School, University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa where he is re–examining the relationship between financial development and economic growth in sub–Saharan Africa. His research interests focus on development finance, time series econometrics, stock markets and economics of corruption.
