Nana Ama Attaa Kwayowah Ofosu is a Research and Policy Officer at the International Growth Centre (IGC) Ghana. Before joining the IGC, she worked as a Research Assistant at the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET), where she worked on projects including the Country Economic Transformation Outlook (CETO), TVET and Mastercard Job Scan project as well as the Gender Scorecard initiative, providing relevant data analysis and research support. Nana Ama also gained valuable research experience as a Research Associate at Zach Levi and Associates, where she led projects on predictive modelling and big data analysis, contributing to indices such as the Zach Levi Generosity Index and the Music Video Index.
Nana Ama holds an MPhil in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics with French from the University of Ghana. Her academic background is rooted in international economics, public finance, and gender economics, and her research interests include fiscal policy, trade, education and gender equality. Throughout her career, Nana Ama has built a solid foundation in quantitative analysis, policy research, and project management. She is passionate about using evidence-based research to inform policy and drive sustainable economic growth.
