Niclas Moneke is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford and a Tutorial Fellow at University College, Oxford. He holds a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. Niclas' research focuses on how access to infrastructure, and particularly reliable energy, in low income countries affects economic development. He has worked closely with policymakers, utilities and statistical agencies in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Myanmar and Zambia.
