Paul Minoletti is an independent researcher based in Myanmar. From 2012 to 2015 he was a Research Coordinator at the Centre for Economic and Social Development (CESD) of the Myanmar Development Resource Institute (MDRI) in Yangon. During his time at MDRI-CESD he worked on a wide range of economic, social and governance issues, including: women’s participation in governance; migration; labour; public finances; and trade and investment. Prior to joining MDRI-CESD he taught English to Myanmar refugees in Thailand. He attained a doctorate in Economic and Social History from the University of Oxford in 2011.
