Priya Manwaring is a PhD student in Economics at the University of Oxford, working on research related to firm productivity, industrial policy, and tax policy in low-income countries. Prior to the PhD programme, Priya worked as a Country Economist for Uganda at the International Growth Centre on issues related to firm productivity and urban development. Priya holds an MSc in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
