Saber Hossain Chowdhury

HE Saber Hossain Chowdhury is a member of the Parliament in Bangladesh from one of the constituencies of the capital, Dhaka.  He served as Deputy Minister of Ministry of Ports & Shipping and, later, as Deputy Minister for Local Government, Rural Development & Cooperatives between 1999 and 2001 during which period he was also the youngest member of the cabinet.  He was the president of Inter-Parliamentary Union from 2014 to 2017.
