Saher Asad is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. She received a Ph.D. in Economics from George Washington University in 2015.

In her research, she collects novel data sets in Pakistan and utilises them to study the socio-economic impacts of modern information and communication technologies (ICTs) in Pakistan.
